Gotta love a good theme.

I'm going to pull the classic I can't believe that it's already June but OMG IT'S ALREADY JUNE. Where did the year go? It's half over already. May flew by before I knew it and here we are, celebrating a monthly favorites that somehow turned out very golden. Don't cha love it when things work out like that?
*MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Oh, Darling!
I've been IN on highlighting lately ever since *MAC Oh, Darling! arrived in my life. It's very gold and glittery which normally I wouldn't turn to, but it somehow works on my pasty skin. It's bright without being super light so when I don't have the sun glaring on my face it doesn't look overly highlighted, you know?
I need to apply this one with a really light hand or it does look a bit too golden, but it's worth it for the bangin' highlight it brings.
*Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint Light
Not going to lie, my skin has been kind to me lately. It's looking goooood like I have good genes or something (when as far as skin goes, I do not). I've been having more barely there skin days than ever before so I've been reaching for the *Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint all the darn time.
I've done a whole thing on wearing the skin tint when you have acne prone, oily skin, in case you missed that. But basically I'm keeping it the same. I like to use a primer (more on that below) because it makes my skin look even better, and it helps to eek out a little longer wear time. Still need a good blot once or five times a day but you know, that's standard.
NYX Ombre Blush in Mauve Me
When I was on vacation not too long ago I whisked away, um, I think four or five blush options with me. God. I'm such a serial over-packer. So even though I was covered for quite literally any and every occasion on the blush front, this is the only one I used. Figures.
The NYX Ombre Blush in Mauve Me is such a different color to the rest of my (punchy, pink) blush collection. It's very muted, very subtle, and can do double duty as blush and contour if you don't mind a quasi '80s purply contour.
The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer
Like I said, I'm still on the daily primer grind. I feel like a lot of people thought I didn't like The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer, from my in depth review. But I totally get why, I was pretty critical of their claims because they missed the mark. But, that doesn't mean it's a bad product. It's just not exactly what they advertised, so you know, grain of salt.
Anyway! I'm still using this pretty much every day in rotation with the High Spreadability Fluid Primer. They're bog standard primers but they don't break the bank so I'm a happy lil' clam.
NUXE Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
Okay I'm obsessed with how this NUXE dry oil smells. I know it's not 100% the point of this oil but still. OBSESSED. Like I've been practically dousing myself in the stuff so my whole damn body is perfumed.
I picked this up in the airport when I was feeling a bit spendy and I haven't stopped using it since. The glitter is really subtle, once it's on your skin, and the cuddly slightly floral scent lasts well throughout the day.
I don't know how multi-purpose it truly is because I tried it on my hair and it weighed it down like I hadn't washed it in DAYS. That, and even though I love the dewy skin look, a straight up glitter face isn't for me. So really it's a single purpose doodad but I don't mind.
*Sigma Brow Powder Duo
I've been very much into doing my brows again lately. I've been wearing my bangs parted down the middle more and more and my brows are actually on display. To rectify my patchy arches, I'm back on board with the *Sigma Brow Powder Duo in Dark Brown. I've been doing a less precise brow because instagram brows make my face look bonkers. I've just been using a flat shader brush to apply over my brows, essentially just darkening them slightly all over.
At Home With...
GOOD LAWD. I know I'm not the only one, but have you listened to the At Home With... podcast? It's by the blogging babes Anna Gardner and Lily Pebbles. They've basically been going down a list and interviewing in home my British beauty favorites. If you haven't given a listen, I'd start with the episode with Terry De Gunzburg (By Terry) and of course, my girl Lisa Eldridge.
I need to have dedicated time while listening to this podcast because I always jot down new products to add to my wishlist. Like basically everything from By Terry. This podcast is not going to be good for my wallet, I tell ya.
Did you have any favorites this month?
