So last weekend I did a little bit of travlin' and packed exactly perfectly for a three day adventure. And because I'm sure at some point in time you'll have a three day weekend to pack for and probably want to wear more than one makeup look I'm sharing it all with you today! You can check out my youtube channel for a video showing three different looks you can make with all this here makeup.
Foundation of choice is Bare Minerals Original Powder Foundation because with the new (um three year old) twisty cap thing your foundation can't spill all over. That's a better bet than a liquid foundation that my drop or break or somehow leak even though you triple checked the cap all over the inside of your super cute new little kitty makeup bag. *Concealer is Stowaway cosmetics and although it is tiny, the pigmentation makes it worth it. Powder, if you need it (powder foundation and powder on top? Maybe not.) is *translucent from Japonesque.
I kept the whole eye scheme pretty... lax? Is that the right word for it? I just basically didn't want to bother with a ton of stuff on the eyes. I tucked in my H&M Cream Eyeshadow in Countess like the sweet little baby pink perfection that it is. I love this particular eyeshadow because it doesn't crease on my oily lids. I also tossed in a bit of MAC Charcoal Brown for an easy breesy crease shade. This one could also be used for a smoky liner, mmmph, yes, that would look good too. Eyeliner of choice right now is the MUFE Aqua Liner in #14. Because I've been getting catty more often than not I like the aqua liners because they don't smudge or crease when they set.
Only two cheek products, I left out bronzer and contour because ever since I've been on the bangs train it just looks off somehow. Blush is Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Never Been Kissed. I love the formula of the colorpop... everything. It's just such a consistently good brand. The blush goes on easily, blends well and then it doesn't budge. And for highlight I brought the Kiko Milan Water Eyeshadow in Champagne. Using this with a larger fluffy brush has been perfect. It distributes enough to give a lift but doesn't make it too glittery.
Three lip options! For a casual clear glossiness I've been verrrrrry into the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. I talked it up and down in my october favorites so you can read it there, just know if you start using it you may get a bit addicted. For a beautiful coral-y MLBB shade, I packed in the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita because I love love it. And last but obviously not least because it's my favorite - *Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bauhau5. Have you ever seen a more perfect pinky purple lip? I don't think so. I tossed this in for the last day most ~ glam ~ option but I would gladly wear it sans liner for a more editorial look.
